"Trust the past to God's mercy, the present to God's love and the future to God's providence."
- Augustine

The very term of a "Christian Worldview" has been thrown around, tossed upside, misunderstood, and misinterpreted on many occasions. At the same time, there has been light shed on the term and accurate interpretations as well.  The definition of a worldview is quite simple really; a worldview is your personal philosophy of life! It is the very framework you base for decision-making.[1]  So, that brings us to the Christian Worldview! A personal philosophy of life in Christ and His Word as the base for all of life's decision!
Of course, with the Christian Worldview comes what this worldview "is not". The very word worldview gives definition to something everyone on the earth possess whether they believe it or not and that is a philosophy on life and a view that leads all of their life decisions. There are many different worldviews that people possess, however the closest one to explain what a Christian Worldview is not is  Secular Humanism. This philosophy claims that humans can create their own moral and ethical  judgments and decisions without God!

The Christian Worldview and its examples are seen in many Christians walking the earth today. Some have been called to preach, teach, and help others understand the meaning of a Christian Worldview and what it looks like to live accordingly. They are called preachers, teachers, counselors, and apologist. One of my favorite apologist is Ravi Zacharias. He is an India native Christian apologist. His usual platform is answering challenging questions from people around the world about the Christian Worldview. He takes Scripture and other facts in history and defends the Gospel. The motto for his ministry is "Helping the Thinker Believe; Helping the Believer Think!"
Liberty University has such a clear explanation of the Biblical Worldview principles and the study of History. In these nine principles, the framework is laid out so precise in the study of history through a Christian Worldview. First and foremost this worldview recognizes that God is Sovereign over everything and everyone and Jesus remains in the center of all human history. Following this, The Bible is explained to be the inherent Word of God that provides us to evaluate all people and nations. In conclusion, History illustrates the brevity of life and the reality of eternity to come.[2]
The Christian Worldview is a philosophy on life that puts God in the center of every decision and basis in the human life. There are some that defend this worldview and faith and some that choose another view. I view life through Christ and His Word. I believe as a Historian is very important to remember your worldview and your biased, lay out the principles of a Biblical Worldview and the proper way to go about them and "Think  Biblically and Live Accordingly."
